If you’re reading this you probably already know that my primary focus this past year was to build my consulting and coaching business, including my main website 56 Vibes and my Facebook page .
So, other than a redesigning the layout here a few months ago, I’ve not spent much time posting here.
Why? Two reasons. One, I knew more changes — major ones were to come. And, two, I knew I’d be on “think mode” a while longer figuring out how I would finally meld my love for writing and publishing with my passion for helping people learn to access their intuition and use it in practical ways.
You see, I’ve been writing and publishing (books, magazines, newspapers, blogs, business documents, more) since 1971. These days I still do a lot of writing, but far less copy writing and business documents for clients. My commitment now is working with writers, artists, entrepreneurs and other creative individuals, who are feeling confused and frustrated, let go of old fears, bad vibes, and disappointments so they can reconnect to their intuition and tap into their creative genius.
I’ve always been highly intuitive. It took a while (long while!) before I found a way that felt right to combine my eclectic background (farming, sales and marketing, hospitality industry, writing, publishing, intuition, spirituality, Reiki, EFT) into a viable business. It’s an ongoing journey of passion and practicality!
But MELD TIME is finally at hand.
And that means that this site, its purpose and use, is finally about to change. I’m so excited. I’m tingling with inspiration touched with fear. Overjoyed with the feelings of intent and purpose and energy and spiritual purpose. I feel like I’m emerging from a cocoon ready to dry my butterfly wings take flight.
Fear never goes away, my friends. You just choose to acknowledge it and choose to move on in spite of it!
What started as an old-fashioned static HTML (built with Microsoft Publisher of all things!) place to explore intuition with my friends (which later became the foundation for the 56Vibes site), that morphed into a placeholder for my writing portfolio (still woefully sparse since so much of my work needs to be recreated in a digital form that can be shared online), is about to becoming a true sister site, a natural extension of 56 Vibes where we’ll give the discussions of writing and publishing, plus time and organizational management, much more focus and attention.
What’s changing.
So on this site expect to find more practical application examples, advice and resources on issues specifically related to writing, publishing and keeping things organized (in a flexible way), and less devotion to making use of your intuition and creativity. Those issues will remain the primary focus at 56 Vibes.
The TWEAKS newsletter is also changing. Because I was stuck for so long trying to figure out what I wanted from this site, TWEAKS never really got off the ground. However, now that I do know where we’re headed and started the journey, I’ve decided what to do about the newsletter, too. There will be one newsletter, 56 Vibes, which will include links to new posts, resources, etc. from this site as well.
Everyone already signed up for TWEAKS will automatically receive the 56 Vibes Newsletter. Those already subscribed to both will get just one. [Note: It may take a while to get all the behind the scene toggles aligned. Patience appreciated. Suggestions or notices about what you're receiving welcome!] As always, subscribers can unsubscribe if the information no longer suits their needs or interests.
With so many of my readers, clients and prospects wanting more information about writing and publishing and how to handle all the info, files and paperwork, this just seemed the natural way to go.
While I wish it had become clearer to me soone, I choose to believe the timing is perfect as is. Everything in its own time. My struggles were (and will continue to be) challenges that I are mine to tackle. The same is true for you.
I owe a lot of people a whopping amount of thanks for their support, encouragement, advice and suggestions. Without their welcomed help plus listening to my own guides, I’d still be wallowing in that quagmire I call the Pond of Too Many Ideas. It’s a bad place to get stuck, far different from the Pond of Endless Ideas, which is wonderfully useful and inspiring.
Life is never static. I’m so glad you’re along for the ride.
By the way, if you haven’t seen the Facebook page, please drop by, click Like (if you do!) and add a comment to introduce yourself. Feel free to include a link to your profile or page if you think it’d be of interest to my network. Here’s the link again: 56 Vibes on Facebook.
